History of the

American Heritage Music Hall, Inc.

A non-profit corporation, 501 (c) 3,

established July 15, 1998.

Co-founders: Jeannie Crane and Charlie Massie.

Three musicians Fred Bolt, Jeannie Crane and Charlie Massie started jamming together in Jeannie's family room. They were there until they started getting too many musicians. That is when Jeannie Crane and Charlie Massie started looking for a larger facility for jamming. They found the old "Pet Shop" in Fairlea, WV to the right of the highway where 219 S. starts the one way. Each week they would have more musicians joining the Jam Sessions and the audience increased. They jammed at the Pet Shop for 6-1/2 years until the owner asked them to move. Jeannie and Charlie searched and found the Roller Rink building located in Ronceverte, WV. July 15, 2013 they celebrated their 15th birthday of the AHMHI.

The AHMHI has grown to be known through out the US, and through out the world. We have had visitors from all across the US and Alaska, plus Canada, Mexico, Greenland, Iceland, England, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Asia, and Japan.
